Why spend large amounts of money on Kombucha at the grocery store, when you can easily make your own, for pennies on the dollar?  Learn about the health benefits of Kombucha brewed tea and why it boosts your metabolism and helps you develop a healthy gut!  This 2 hour class taught by Dr. Carol Batey-Prunty will give you the confidence to make your own Kombucha at home and develop recipes that will satisfy your palette for years to come!

In this class, Carol will teach you about:
1) Ingredients you will need
2) Equipment you need
3) Steps of basic Kombucha fermenting
4) Safety and sanitation methods for safe fermenting

Carol will send you home with starter ingredients to produce your first batch of Kombucha:
1) A Kombucha Scoby
2) Organic Black Tea
3) Organic Sugar

Carol’s passion and calling have revolved around teaching numerous homestead topics including preserving and fermenting foods.  She has also produced all-natural skin care products for many years.  Carol has been teaching Plant Medicine for over thirty years to organizations in multiple states.

Her homestead is in Goodlettsville, Tennessee on thirteen acres.  The homestead is a botanical sanctuary that houses medicinal at-risk plants for healing the body, mind, and soul.  She lives on  Native American land…which is very meaningful since she has Cherokee, Apache, and Blackfoot Indian in her ancestry.   Always a prepper, she has skills in storage and extending the life of food.
