Bio:
Nicolette Maio is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and yoga teacher, who is currently in school at MTSU working towards a degree in Nutrition and Food science with a focus in dietetics.
She attended several vegan chef trainings at the Vegan Gastronomy Culinary Academy in Mallorca, Spain in 2018 after being vegan for several years. In her free time she coordinates and cooks for events and works as a farmer at Old School Farm, a non profit that employees adults with disabilities and donates food to Nashville food pantries.
As a future dietitian, she plans to continue to help people learn about working with local food and is curating a farm program that will invite people to attend retreats focused on bringing people back to nature and themselves through food, farming and movement.
