For starters, and as a reminder, hemp and marijuana are commonly referred to interchangeably, but it’s a misconception. While the plants are cousins, medicinal hemp is legal and contains CBD and low levels of THC in its oils.   Whereas, marijuana is still illegal in many places and contains high levels of THC, the chemical that creates a “high” feeling.
