Bio
Margie Hunter is a writer and author of Gardening with the Native Plants of Tennessee: The Spirit of Place. She is a member (and former Secretary) of the Tennessee Native Plant Society, a founding board member and secretary of the Tennessee Naturalist Program, and a member of the Tennessee Invasive Plant Council. She also volunteers with the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage in the Smoky Mountains, and has been hiking the Appalachian Trail.
