Sold Out – Kid’s Class:  Preserve Flowers with a Flower Press
Saturday, June 25, 10 – 11:30 am
Cost:  $20 which includes the flower press kit, Parents & Grandparents are FREE

Spark your child’s imagination by making their own flower press!  Pressing flowers is an easy way to preserve the beauty of your favorite blooms to use in crafts or framed to enjoy all year long.

There are numerous ways to use beautiful pressed flowers:  handmade greeting cards, framed art, school projects and so much more!

Historically, flower presses have been used by botanists as they collect wildflower specimens and carefully store them for later identification.   All ages and abilities are welcome!

The class will be on the 12′ x 60′ back porch that is covered with an enclosure so they will be out of wind and rain. Kids can also go feed the goats and walk around the farm/play on the swing set. Parents/Grandparents are welcome to bring a lunch and enjoy time outdoors on the farm.
Note: Any parents who want to drop off older children, must sign a farm liability waiver.
