Curing meat is a different type of fermentation which they have done for years with hams and bacon. \nBeth grew up in Jackson\, TN on a dairy farm where she and her siblings were a big part of the daily working of the dairy. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics Education. She was a stay at home mom to their 4 children\, homeschooling and being very involved in their education at public school. Teaching Sunday School\, substitute teaching at school\, and then being a kindergarten teacher assistant for 13 years are some of the ways she has been involved in education. However\, the somewhat old-fashioned idea of homemaking has always been the most important aspect of Beth’s life.

DESCRIPTION:The Stoney Creek U-Pick Garden will open 1/2 day on Saturday\, June 26 from 8 am – 12 noon.  We will have limited veggies and berries.  We will also have local honey\, sourdough bread\, herbs\, zucchini bread\, eggs\, and much more.  We also have goats and chickens for the kids to see as well as a playground and a BIG TOY Box. \nAfter this Saturday\, we will be open Wed/Sat 8 am – 6 pm and Sunday 1-5 pm for the Summer. \nCome enjoy the fun and fresh air at our Franklin Farm!
