Curing meat is a different type of fermentation which they have done for years with hams and bacon. \nBeth grew up in Jackson\, TN on a dairy farm where she and her siblings were a big part of the daily working of the dairy. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics Education. She was a stay at home mom to their 4 children\, homeschooling and being very involved in their education at public school. Teaching Sunday School\, substitute teaching at school\, and then being a kindergarten teacher assistant for 13 years are some of the ways she has been involved in education. However\, the somewhat old-fashioned idea of homemaking has always been the most important aspect of Beth’s life. \n\n\n\n\n  \n
