DESCRIPTION:  \nHerbs in Your Pocket\nKids Herbal First-Aid Kit Workshop\nSaturday\, July 13\, 10am – 12 noon\nCost $35\, which includes booklet\, supplies\, instruction and four herbal remedies to take home.  A child  can bring one adult for FREE.\n\n\n\n\nHerbs that can travel in your pocket…\nJoin master herbalist\, Julia Stowe\, for an exciting\, hands-on workshop and make your own miniature herbal first aid kit! \nIn this two-hour class we will: \n\nmake four unique\, multi-use herbal remedies \nkids will have remedies that are small enough to fit in a purse\, backpack\, or even your pocket\ngive kids an instructional booklet and all supplies included.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for young herbalists ages 8 and up.  Adults will enjoy learning how to make unique natural herbal remedies too! \n  \n \nBio\nJulia Stowe has been studying the art of herbalism for ten years. As a graduate of Vintage Remedies in Franklin\, TN and the East West School of Planetary Herbology in Ben Lomond\, CA\, she has learned that herbalism is a way of life\, not a quick fix treatment plan. She has been teaching seasonal herbal classes and workshops since 2015 on wildcrafting\, basic remedy making\, and the use of herbs preventatively to support a healthy lifestyle. She has been featured in various articles in local papers\, has a line of organic\, herb-infused health and beauty products\, and has started Blossom Arts to provide an introduction to students into the world of herbs through hands on workshops and lectures covering various aspects of herbalism. \n\n\n\n\nHerbs that can travel in your pocket…
