Kid’s Bug Scavenger Hunt

April 15 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Kid’s Bug Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, April 15, 10 – 11:30 am
Cost: $25 per child, parents/grandparents are free

How many bugs can you find on a farm?  Find out when you go on this imaginative and fun scavenger hunt!

Bugs are part of the ecosystem that provide many benefits to our natural environment.  It’s exciting to learn all of the different jobs that bugs do to keep nature healthy and clean.

The Bug Scavenger Hunt will include a show-and-tell portion as we learn about and examine different bug species.  We’ll then go into the woods and across the creek to explore several acres of the farm.  Kids should wear sturdy shoes.  After the hike, kids can also go feed the goats and enjoy playtime on the farm. Parents/Grandparents are welcome to bring a lunch and enjoy time outdoors on the farm. Note: Any parents who want to drop off older children, must sign a farm liability waiver.  $25 per child  10:00am to 11:30am
