Organic vs All Natural

The reason we don’t grow organic produce such as organic tomatoes is…the paperwork for being USDA certified organic is significant (time consuming), and we don’t want to use only heirloom seed (which sometimes does not yield the sturdiest plants/fruit).  On the other hand, we do use hybrid seed that grows healthy, sturdy plants with lots of fruit and we use integrated pest management practices to attract beneficial insects, so we don’t have to spray pesticides.  We use only NON-GMO seed in our Garden.  As a small farm, growing all natural produce made the most sense for us.

U-Pick / Pick-Your-Own

We do u-pick. It’s fun.  Our goal is for you and your family to learn about how to grow and pick healthy food from the garden.  We want our customers to come to our farm as a relaxing destination and learning experience.  We do not offer CSA’s or go to any Farmer’s Markets because we want you to visit us and learn more about growing and eating healthy food.
